The game was in a word great.  The RP was the best its been in awhile and although no real adventuring got done I now have an Idea on the personality of the players. The druid is sneaking securing a fast and desive win the the tournament and the warmage is going to be a handful. Seems the rogue and monk or going to have fun together and the PLD is going to do alot of head shaking and asking why me.

      We will get the adventure going next time. I am glad all the ppl involved are together and ready for the next time. We may have 2 new ppl joining but I already know how to work them in.

     We had a very good first day and the char really seemed to come to life for me, after asking questions and delving into there past, plus I got ideas lol. Our line up though deverse is going to make the game worthy of sitting and playing, cant wait to see how the dynamics of the differnt classes and races are going to work out.

     Thus far we have

Paladin: On a crite chance to hit again giving your weapon  Double Attack
Warmage: Ring that stores an extra combat spell
Druid: Pendant that allows you to speak common even in Wildshape
Barbarian:The ability to add +4 to AC once a day
Rouge: earring that give a +3 to Cha 1 time a day
Cleric: Cast an extra heal a day 1 time a day

 It seems that the Epic Gamers are going to be returning and boy are they going to be in for a surprise. I the kind and benevolent DM has decided to put all my ideas and crazy stories into one big camPAIN!!!!. The story is going to mostly char driven with a HEAVY RP aspect.

SO the adventures seek a new adventure and what may be around the next corner....

     The game was on! Leave it to my players to do things that will surprise me. First they all show up early,second we only had 1 fumble.  
    I would like to say that we did miss our favorite half orc and hopefully she will be back wacking the monsters next go around. Our thoughts are with her.
    We are glad our PLD is here despite the fact that I had to almost smack the shit out of someone.She has what she needs and THIS will be the last time she will ever go without her meds and other things.
    Thanks to the 2 new comers for likeing the game and daring to return.

     The food was great. Made WAY to much Mac&Cheese and Sloppy joes.The ranger ate more than I have ever seen him eat. The Drinks went forth : DM's Special Margeritas and than my own drink called Fuzzy Duckling. The mage and warlock  had a few, the Cleric had some and got a bit silly and even the pld and my own lovely Rogue had some, but we got down to the fun.

    The adventures got the Eye of NIght and rescued the Thornblood Druid and his wounded badger compaion ,proceding to town where they got all the XP due to them and the rewards. At this point the Half Orc was struck with an illness and placed in the local inn with a cleric to watch her. A paladin approched the group and asked for there help ,and after much haggling about what was considered reward and what needed to be turned into the church our party went forth.
      The entered the first room with nothing hurting them and discovered some statues ( I got to point out they poked some of the statues thinking they might be constructs, someithing about having a sneeky DM) and the rogue triggered a trap (really wasn't her night)but managed to dodge most of the falling rocks, and all was ok till the room went totally black and the Darkmantels attacked . A fierce battle was underway with 3 of the party being slammed into the ground over and over again while the cleric tried but failed to heal party members .The Ranger got a nice hit killing 1  and restoring the light and than it was on ,even the mage getting the first of 2 kills that night.   The next room was  a cave filled with water and another statue.The rouge snuck closer to the edge of the water she was attacked by 2 water Ghasts and everyone was sick except the Ranger. It was a hard fight with several of our people ether getting reduced to 0 hp or paralized which kept the cleric busy, but the fight was won and loot was discovered. After resting a bit they went out to the statue and discovered it turned to open a secret door . As they entered the room they where met by the rooms protecter who notices a PLD in the group and vows to help them ,offering  his belongings to the group, The cleric makes out  witht that loot, and the adventures thanked the ghost and turned around to go tback and look about more.   They moved down a hallway and discovered 2 rooms, 1 was barred tight with something large and heavy moving and the other was noice  but quiter and after talking it over went for quite first..   Upon opening the door discover bespelled townsfolk redoing a muriel of the good pld of the town being defeated  coold there be evil afoot  hmmmmm, freeing the townsfolk and getting the out the advetures go to the other door and lay a trap for whatever is inside the PLAN is to have it rush them and they kill it after trapping it good plan   kinda.  Opening the door the see a large 10 ft tall Owlbear who wants to eat them but will not move to the door and the ranger hits it with an arrow backing it down and the rogue goes in hitting the trap that was holding the Owlbear back and takes 2 points of acid damage from the trap, and keeping the trap from reseting the others come in to do battle and the Owlbear want to eat. The adventures win the fight and decide to rest.......after getting lvl 3.

     The night was a fun time and the gaming group really came together and I hope had fun. I would like to thank you all for playing, the char development is going nice as you all grow into the chars. I do enjoy it and sorry for any speling mistakes or run ons in these entries.

I want 1 of whatever the dwarf was drinking that knocked him out.

It is always nerve wracking to meet new ppl,you got all these worries about them likeing you and personallity clashes,well not this time. Our 2 new players where great and fit right in and am vry glad to hove them,best gaming we have had in a very,very, long while.

And so the story goes .........After much talking,eating,rolling,and laughing the game and its player where ready,quite a not usual lineup but one I think worked out very well. The group consists of:
Half-Orc female Barbarian very good on the powerful hits,she really knocks them down
Elf male Ranger who is going to be a melee ranger and cant wait for him to realize all his abilitys (for got he could track at first lvl for half the game hehehe)
Human female Rogue only human in the group so far and she does well
Eladrin female Cleric who kept the group alive
Eladrin male Wizard who did well with the crossbow and spells
Tiefling female Warlock great at delvering sling shot not so good at crossing ledges.

The group entered the Dungeon crawl in search for the Eye of night and had to go down a hole to see what there was. The first one down the hole was the 6'5 250 lbs half orc whe broke the small covering and slide 30ft knocking herself out att he bottem, to be followed by the cleric who tripped slid and fell onto the sleeping orc, thats 2 down and out, the warlock went down tripped and fell on to the sleeping couple but managed to not knock herself silly and the rest of the group went down ok, so far no enemys and 3 ppl have been almost killed by a hill. Everyone is up and somehow the cleric is missing her underwear,after being fed a healing potion the mage had to fish out of her pack  a panty mage? anyhow round the corned and run into the first encounter DIRE RATS took a bit to kill ,the cleric took a bolt to the butt from the mage,and everyone took a few hits but they got the critters down and was time for a rest, for a first battle as a group it went well. After resting they searched the first of 2 tunnels not finding much in the first however after the rogue went down the second tunnel the half orc decided to go and can barely squeesze through he boobs got in the way and the mage behind them and when they do pop out bigger rats so it a turn around witht the mage going out the tunnel fast the rogue going through the half-orsc legs the half orc cussing cause her boobs are being rubbed the wrong way keeps swatting the rats that are clwing and biting her legss and butt,she finally clears the cave and as the first rat come out the ranger who was waiting lets loose a chop that kills the big stinker and the other rats are easly dealt with.On again to the slippery maze pit that  is very slick to walk across and our brave  herous look like cats on stilts and fall down some and are covered in mud when HUGE dire rats appear and the warlock knocks herself out the rogue gets a crit and the rats are punished for laughing at the adventurers, which brings us to the pit. Very small pit ledge and some nasty stuff groning on top so they tie a rope around the half-orc as an anchor and the all make it over almost,again the warlock miss steps falls and into the muck she goes to be pulled out the stuff by the half orc unfortuantly the grey ooze was her keg and doesnt want to give it up so a tug of war begins and she slips and falls 6 times in a row winning her the yo yo prize and thanks to the ooze will never have to shave that leg ever again. In to the room which holds the Dire rats and 1 pissed of Wererat and the fight is on. It was a good fight each side getting some good hits in with the half orc rogue making a good team. Treasure was found and happyness reached and at this point they rested.

Also this is the point we stopped cause the sugar high from VICRORIAS GREAT CUPCAKES was gone and the coke and soda buzz had waned and ppl were tired but I had a great time and in 2 weeks hope to do it again. So to our new friends thanks for coming look forward to many more pleasent nights and same to our old friends.  We did miss one person in the form of a Female Paladin but hopefully she will feel better and join us next time, or we pump her full of drugs and bring her anyways.

     After many months of nothing the mighty gamers of Southwest VA are going to dust off books,dice, and so on and try again. NOT the epic that I have worked on but something smaller since we have a couple of ppl who have been out of the game for awhile.

Steve of the long hair is (hopefully)coming to play. I really enjoy his playing style. He is good at melee and magic so it will be interesting to see what he plays.He may also bring his pretty sidekick cause I love the way she plays also. The only thing about Steve if he says :"I have this game I have been playing" run. WoW and FF11 started this way.

Mikey may or may not play due to work but him and Brian are welcomed. Love the way he interpets the rules and makes a Dm think.

Our Victoria has been out recruiting and we will welcome  these new players (victimss) with open arms and pointy swords.

Hopefully next SAT will go off without a hitch.See you all than

If the rouge says ut-oh while checking for traps, PRAY

     Its been sometime since our last game so I will recap it first. The heros met and defeated the servants of the GOLDEN EYE and not in the way I though it would go, they actually did it right (must make it more interesting) and defeated my first crafted demon of thid game. And after much planning and talking the made it to the "hidden "room where I had another monster I was just waiting to play a MAGIC EATER-alot like a Rust Monster but instead of metal goes after the most magic in the area,was looking to be a good fight till the rouge one shotted it,yep first roll 20 and than a 99 instant death  uuuggghhh.  So they make it to the steps of the temple....

      And I dont know whats going to go on. Andrew has left he was our Sor and PLD and I may NPC his char or I may use 2 I like a necromancer  and an exotic  weapons master (in the making).He left to go to college in TX, which is good for him but leaves me with a very unusual group of players  ALL FEMALE. I have no doubt they will do great its just different.  We may have 2 more players joining our group and all the girls wanna continue so hopefully all will go well,we shall see

    So Andrew farewell I hope your studies and life go well  drop us an e-mail every now and again.....
